MAJET Manga Drive 12/19/2011
In July of this year MAJET ran a Manga Drive to distribute donated Manga and picture books to children in earthquake/tsunami affected areas. All Manga were donated by Samurai Factory Inc. (thanks Samurai Factory!), a company in Tokyo that collected over 70,000 Manga to be distributed to Manga lovers of all ages in the Tohoku area, just to put smiles back on people’s faces. With the help of Andrew Frisa (Kesennuma), Michael Luzia (Onagawa), Katie Oi (Minami-sanriku), Lies Van Keer (Shiogama), Hung Ho (Sendai), and Henry Ngai (Ishinomaki), we were able to distribute approximately 6,000 Manga to areas that needed it most!
